Grace

We don't earn it
We just yearn it
We don't go get it
We are given it
We can't twist it
The betrayer kissed it
And if you resist it
Then you've missed it

It's not in the space
Or the rightful place
It's not the look of our face
Or our walking pace
It's not by living right
Or finding our light
Its by the loving embrace
In the arms of grace

So seek His face innit!

Regular events!

Our Young people enjoy a youth focused service on Sunday mornings, which is held on 2nd Floor Cables House from 11:15 to 12:30 (next door to Elim Christian Centre) and many exciting activities during the week.

On Tuesday evenings we have eXcentric from 7:30pm to 9pm we have a number of young people who meet at Cables House to work on developing their ministry gifts and talents. This ranges from playing with the worship bands to dance, art and drama. We have the facilities to do professional music recording and we will be slowly expanding this area.

On Friday evenings we run Fridge a youth club for school years 7pm to 9pm for year 6 up. Due to expansion of numbers we now hold this in the main church. We offer dance and music areas, consoles, craft and art areas, chill out areas, football, pool and tuck. We are constantly expanding the facilities.

Our vision is to see the young people grow both spiritually and socially as they interact with each other and come along to our meetings. We are continually looking for ways to engage the young people in opportunities to develop to their full God given potential.

The youth group has grown to such an extent that we are constantly looking for more people to stand up and join us in running these events. Even if you do not feel you have much to give we can use you. Someone to watch the tuck shop or check on corridors once and a while frees us up to do more activities for the youth! Please feel free to volunteer or donate to us. Should you wish to volunteer please email Gareth with your availability.
