Life Groups

New to Church?

Want to meet more people?

Why not join a Life Group and get to know more people?

Description and Purpose:

LifeGroups are a network of small groups of people that meet together regularly usually around a common interest, common bond, or common theme for worship, study, fellowship, encouragement, outreach or ministry (or a combination of these). Each LifeGroup has a team leader who is responsible for the activities within the group and each group has it’s own emphasis / geographical location. In addition to Bible Study/Discussion groups we currently run a Drama LifeGroup, an Art LifeGroup, a Guitar LifeGroup and a Culture Club LifeGroup.
The purpose of the LifeGroups is to connect people and build community.

Meetings and Contacts:

The days, times and frequency of LifeGroup meetings vary and details of these can be found both on the LifeGroup notice board and in the information leaflets in the church foyer. Please talk to Pastor Mike Preston for further information on 01256 358855.

Opportunities for You:

The LifeGroup network is the backbone of the church and we would encourage you to be part of a group because:

1. You can find and join a LifeGroup where you can build relationships with people who share a common interest.
2. In a LifeGroup you can deal with and handle life's toughest questions and most delicate issues on a very personal, sensitive, effective, life-changing level.
3. In a LifeGroup you have the opportunity to develop giftings and ministries in a non-threatening and supportive small group environment.
4. LifeGroups provide a platform for social interaction as well as spiritual growth.
5. LifeGroups provide primary care and support to members.

If you have an interest in starting a LifeGroup in your geographical area or in relation to a sport, hobby, area of interest or activity let Pastor Mike Preston know and we will assess the viability of starting such a group.
