Jamie Price to lead Limitless Pioneers Gap Year

Limitless, Elim's National Youth Ministry, is excited to announce that Jamie Price has been appointed to lead the Limitless Pioneers gap year initiative.

Limitless has a vision to pioneer 100 new youth ministries through Elim churches who are not currently reaching young people. At the forefront of the strategy to deliver these new youth initiatives is Limitless Pioneers, a gap year programme that will send teams of youth workers to churches seeking to reach the young people in their communities, helping them to pioneer new youth ministries. Jamie Price will be joining the Limitless staff team to lead this programme forward.

“When envisioning the Limitless Pioneers programme, I knew that its success would hinge on finding the right person to lead it forward,” says Tim Alford, National Director of Limitless. “We would need to find a well experienced, high-calibre leader to help our churches pioneer in this way. I am delighted to say that, in Jamie, we have appointed such a leader.”

Jamie has served as the Youth Pastor at NCC Dream, our Elim Church in Newquay, for the past six years, and has in recent times been part of the Limitless Leadership Team overseeing the Southern region. During that time he has been involved in starting up new youth ministries, as well as events and training programmes for youth leaders across the region.

“The ultimate dream is to see at least 100 new, sustainable and thriving youth ministries established in churches across the nation,” shares Jamie. “Thinking that we could be part of shaping the future of Elim and of these churches across the nation going forward for years to come is the most exciting part.”

“As a result of this work, we will be connecting with a whole load of young people, who may never have connected with a church or God before. Thinking that a whole wave of young people could get to know Jesus as a result of this work – that excites me!”

“We want to leave our current church well, and make sure that the youth ministry I have worked so hard establishing, will flourish in the coming years. Also, we are expecting our first child, so we decided to change jobs, homes and locations all at once! It feels crazy, but know God is in it.”

Please join with us in praying for Jamie and his wife Debs as they enter into a period of transition, not only with this new role but with the addition of their first child in June.
